Lee Grant started his career in 1998 at Watford . He never got a game for Watford and in 2000 he joined Derby County as a trainee. It took him 2 years to make his debut for the Rams what took place on 7th of September 2002 , coming in to replace Andy Oakes who was injured in the march against Burnley ..
He went on to win the club's Young Player of the Year award at the end of the season after playing a total of 30 games that season .
After spending 2000–2007 with the rams he ended up joining he joined Grant signed a three-year contract with Championship club Sheffield Wednesday on 2 July 2007 where he spent 3 years before making a move to former loan club Burnley On 27 July 2010. The deal for Lee Grant was worth £1 million .
On 7 May 2013, it was confirmed the Grant would return to Derby County on a three-year contract after his contract with Burnley expired on 1 July 2013. Lee Grant went into the 2013–14 season as the first choice goalkeeper but he was not the same player who payed for the Rams in his first run .
He made a loan move to Stoke City On 31 August 2016. He was only coming in on a six-month loan deal to provide cover for the injured Jack Butland.
It only took his 2 months to make his Premier League Debut at the age of 33 years old .. On 24 September he was in goal for the
1–1 home draw against West Bromwich Albion.
Grant signed for Premier League club Manchester United on 3 July 2018 on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £1.5 million.He was assigned the number 13 shirt. Lee Grant made his debut for Manchester United on 25 September 2018, as a substitute for Juan Mata, after Sergio Romero was sent off, in a EFL Cup tie against Derby County, United lost 8–7 on penalties following a 2–2 draw.[
