Derby county manager Gary Rowett will be spliting his squads tonight for the rams two matches. Rowett said: "It will be an interesting one.
"Sometimes when you do split-squad games as soon as you get a few injuries then it really stretches and tests both teams.
"We want to win all games but it is probably the one evening where the result is less important than the 90 minutes fitness work."
Players have so far played 45 minutes in each of the two friendlies against Kidderminster Harriers and Macclesfield Town.
The players have only been playing 45 minutes in the last te matches they had so tonight is going to be a big physical challenge for the players , with some of them being on the pitch tonight for 90 minutes in some cases. What is a big step up and it be great to see how the players do .
"We might see some players finding it tough at 70 minutes especially if the opposition is changing all of its team," Rowett added.
