Last season Derby County Defender Jason Shackell had to miss the last few months of the season because of an injury to his back . Derby County manager Gary Rowett took part in an interview where he updated the fans on Jason's injury.

Rowett says Shackell's recovery is taking longer than expected but the player is making progress. Shackell's has not return to training yet .
"I think it has probably been a little bit slower than he or the medical team would have liked,"
"It is a back injury and therefore you have to be a bit careful.
"His rehabilitation is going well. He has been out on the training pitches but he has just not joined in with the rest of the players yet."
