It looks like some bad news for Derby County midfielder George Thorne who only just got fit again after Breaking his leg last . The young midfielder has picked up a slight hamstring injury in training and he had to pull out of one of the clubs training sessions.
This was all confirmed by Derby county manager Gary Rowett. He was talking to RamTv And he had the following to say
'George pulled out a couple of days ago with a tight hamstring."
'It's a difficult one with him because he's coming back from such a long-term injury , we have to be a tiny bit more patient with him and to not expect, because he's such a good player, that he's going to be out there first game of the season."
Thorne did not play a single game for Derby last season due to a fractured leg, but Rowett remains optimistic he will be back in seven to ten days.
"He's probably jumped into the intense training sessions, which we wanted him to try to do, so now we just build it up a bit more slowly with him."

This bloke is made of glass. I think if we don't get thirty games from George Thorne this season, we should move him out. You can't go paying ten grand a week to someone whose favourite position is lying on a treatment table

I don't understand why he is always hurt ? How does he pick them up so easy . The breaking leg was out of his hands and nothing he could of done to stop that . That was just one of them things what happen .
I feel so sorry for this young lad because he is not getting the chance to show what he can do .

Perhaps, as they said, he tried to push it too far too soon. You would think he would have learned by now.
